Organizational Development Program

BS Office Administration (CoEd-3A)
Tulip St., Area C, Camarin, Caloocan City

Introduction:

Today, teams and organizations face rapid change like never before. Globalization has increased the markets and opportunities for more growth and revenue. However, increasingly diverse markets have a wide variety of needs and expectations that must be understood if they are to become strong customers and collaborators. Concurrently, scrutiny of stakeholders has increased as some executives have been convicted of illegal actions in their companies, and the compensation of executives seems to be increasing while wages of others seems to be decreasing or leveling off. Thus, the ability to manage change, while continuing to meet the needs of stakeholders, is a very important skill required by today's leaders and managers.

B. General Goal

General goals of organizational programs or projects have different strategies to carry them out and these in turn have their own specific objectives, thrusts, activities, commitments in human and material resources (personnel and budget) and evaluation parameters.

C. Specific Objectives

It aims to increase organizational performance by aligning goals and subordinate objectives throughout the organization. Ideally, employees get strong input to identify their objectives, time lines for completion, etc. MBO includes ongoing tracking and feedback in the process to reach objectives.

F. Gabay Organization Development Norms

Organization development (OD) is a concept, organization-wide effort to increase an organization's effectiveness and viability. It referred to OD as a response to change, a complex educational strategy intended to change the beliefs, attitudes, values, and structure of organization so that they can better adapt to new technologies, marketing and challenges, and the dizzying rate of change itself.

G. Gabay Activity Norms

However, empirical evidence relating social norms to these behaviors, independently of other more commonly-investigated social constructs such as social support, is scarce and findings equivocal, perhaps due to limitations in the ways in which social norms have been conceptualized and assessed.

H. Gabay Norms for Collaboration

Collaborative work is facilitated when each team member is explicitly conscious of self and others  not only aware of what he or she is saying, but also how it is said and how others are responding to it. "Understanding how we create different perceptions allows us to accept others, points of view as simply different, not necessarily wrong.

I. Gabay for Evaluation

The norms seek to facilitate system-wide collaboration on evaluation by ensuring that evaluation entities within the work to follow agreed-upon basic principles. They provide a reference for strengthening, professionalizing and improving the quality of evaluation in all entities of the company.

J. Recommendations

I recommend that the committee had initially suggested norms for holding various current assets for fifteen different industries. Many of these norms were revised and the least extended to cover almost all major industries of the company.
